The Mayor of Letterkenny is demanding the council seek a meeting with the Department of Education after St Eunan’s College was ignored by the Government for the priority building fund. Despite seeking an urgent extension, the Letterkenny college has once again been left out of plans for a multi-million euro fund for the next two years. Councillor Brogan, a past pupil of the school, said it is “beyond belief” that the school is not inlcuded in the building programme. He said “As a past pupil and have had my family members educated in the school, I want to acknowledge and fully support the great work of the school management, staff and pupils of St Eunan’s College. “I can assure the great team at St Eunan’s College that I will leave no stone unturned until we get what is so badly needed to allow them to continue to provide top quality education for our students in this area.”
