Victory, Ohio, on May 14, 1942, to Pearl A. Boyd and Fern Dean Tippie Boyd. He transferred to Fort Smith, Arkansas as the District Warehouse Manager. He also served as the Director of Operations for the Nike Fort Smith Classic Tournament and on the Board of the Fort Smith First Tee program. A private family military service will be held at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
