Shirley was born on October 4, 1951, in Pasadena, California, to Kathalyn Milroy Torres and Norman Norton. Throughout her life, Shirley carried a deep love for family, faith, and the simple joys that brought people together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathalyn and Adolf Torres, and Norman Norton; as well as her siblings Gordon Norton, Jess Norton, Bob Norton, and Greg Norton.
