YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Temperatures continue their ascend towards the 80s this week. Today, highs are reaching 78°F in the Imperial Valley, while Yuma County is sitting a couple degrees cooler. After high winds on our Arizona side of the region, gusts are calming down and will remain that way heading into at least tomorrow morning. Friday afternoon could see gusts pick back up above 15mph in Yuma County, even reaching 20mph. Imperial County will not see this increase in wind gusts but both counties will see temperatures hit 80°F.
