The Boston Bruins made a roster move, recalling forward Matthew Poitras from the AHL, and he’s expected to draw into the lineup on Thursday. Ahead of his season debut, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm sent a clear message to the young forward. “He is going to play with a guy like (Marat Khusnutdinov) today; he’s going to have his back. In the AHL this season, Poitras has eight goals and 16 assists for 24 points in 39 games. Ahead of his return to the NHL, Poitras believes he’s found more confidence in his game and expects to make an impact for the Bruins.
