“Kind, hard-working and loyal” Limerick farmer laid to rest after tragic farm incident

AdvertisementA LIMERICK farmer who died following a tragic farming incident last weekend has been described as a “kind, hard-working, and loyal” man, as he was laid to rest today (Thursday January 29).
Family and friends gathered for the funeral of 38-year-old TJ Sweeney, a former resident of Broadford, in Our Lady of the Snows Church to remember his life.
Mr Sweeney tragically lost his life following an incident on a farm in Dromcollogher on Saturday last (January 24).
Among the items offered to celebrate TJ’s life were a television remote control and an Only Fools and Horses model to represent the “laughs, light-hearted moments, and smiles” he shared with those around him.
Tributes were also paid to TJ’s wife Tara.
