A fatal three-vehicle accident occurred northwest of Lawson, resulting in one death and three injuries. The crash involved a Toyota Highlander colliding head-on with a trash truck on Route PP, then being struck from behind by a GMC Sierra. The 22-year-old Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the trash truck driver and passenger sustained moderate injuries, and the third driver suffered serious injuries. All three injured individuals were taken to hospitals in the Kansas City area for treatment.
