Weatherford, OK – Charles Vang of Owasso, Oklahoma has been named the Dr. Sara Nell (Bergstrom) Marquis Memorial Scholar for the 2025-2026 Academic Year at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). Vang hods a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Marquis and her husband, Charles “Chuck” Marquis, ’72, of Weatherford, raised two daughters: Carissa (Marquis) King, ’08, also of Weatherford, and Alicia Marquis, ’14, of Fort Collins, Colorado.
