Edmonton resident Cody William Prior, 39, is facing charges of possessing stolen property worth more than $5,000 and resisting an officer following an incident in the Alberta Beach area. According to the Alberta RCMP, on Jan. 27 the Parkland RCMP was advised that a stolen semi-truck, trailer and skid steer were being tracked by GPS. Article contentThe Central Alberta district crime reduction unit located the truck, and police observed it going into Alberta Beach, according to the RCMP. A suspect then “fled on foot in a residential area” while the semi-truck was still running, the RCMP stated. Police dogs were used to find and arrest a suspect, and officers recovered the semi-truck and skid steer, according to the RCMP.
