The man now charged with managing the ongoing federal immigration enforcement and fraud investigation operations in Minnesota pledged “massive changes” — with cooperation — during his first press conference on Thursday.
Tom Homan, the White House’s “border czar,” arrived in Minnesota earlier this week and has since talked with Gov.
Homan acknowledged he’s had “meaningful dialogue” with several state and local leaders and plans to continue meeting with more.
Regardless, based on that cooperation, Homan said it will allow ICE to conduct more “targeted, strategic enforcement operations” that require fewer officers.
Homan was focused on immigration enforcement during his first public press conference in Minnesota and did not mention fraud.
