The Cloquet American Legion Post 262, the Carl Anderson Post, chartered on Oct. 8, 1919, with 15 charter members. The American Legion Family has grown to include the American Legion Auxiliary, chartered on March 3, 1920, the Sons of the American Legion Post 262 chartered on March 28, 1935, and the American Legion Riders, which were chartered on March 30, 2011, with 29 initial members. American Legion Riders is a program for motorcycle enthusiasts you can join through a Riders chapter at an American Legion post. The American Legion Auxiliary also has a Junior Auxiliary.
