William "Bill" Ross Lindberg, 86, passed away peacefully at Inter-faith Care Center in Carlton, Minnesota on Jan. 13, 2026. He was born in Panama City, Panama on Dec. 4, 1939 to Maynard and Leona Lindberg. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Karyl; infant son, Roger; parents, Maynard and Leona (Thomas); nephews Dean and Phil; niece Lenore; brothers in law Ed Farmer and Robert Hamby; sisters in law Sandy Lindberg and Kathy Hamby. He is survived by children, Rebecca (Shaun) Hyry, Travis Lindberg, Lisa Lucht; brother Bruce Lindberg; grandchildren, Jordan, Kaleb (Carlee), Lucas Hyry, Mackenzie Lindberg, Ashley (Ryan) Hassler, Jared (Nichole) Lucht, Alyssa (Sonny) Strewlow and three great granddaughters; sister-in-law Rita Farmer and brother-in-law Bill (Lisa) Hamby. A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 7 at Inter-faith Care Center, 811 3rd St. Carlton, Minnesota 55718.
