The Minnesota Wilderness completed their season series against Fairbanks last weekend with a 4-1 victory Friday and 5-4 loss in overtime Saturday. It also gives the Midwest Division-leading Wilderness (28-7-3) a 4-0-1 mark against Fairbanks (23-13-3), which sits 10 points behind in second place. The weekend portion of the three-game series followed Thursday’s contest which the Wilderness won, 6-3. Minnesota was led in the weekend games by forward Noah Dziver, who finished with 4 points, 2 goals, 2 assists and now leads the Wilderness in assists with 35 and points at 57 in 34 games played. The Wilderness stayed in Alaska for the week to take on Kenai River Friday and Saturday.
