Some 75 protestors braved subzero temperatures in Cloquet Friday, Jan. 23, to call for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to leave Minnesota. They returned on Saturday, after Minneapolis protestor Alex Pretti was killed by U.S. Border Patrol officers. Pretti's shooting sparked strong reactions from local residents (see Page 8), and it may have sparked change in the federal government's approach in to immigration enforcement here.
