It will come as no surprise that most of my discussions have taken place among people with whom I generally agree.

And then there are occasions when moral laws are applied for immoral purposes.
Our nation’s immigration laws, as currently constituted, are not inherently racist (as compared to, say, the Chinese Exclusion Act).
