Black History Month at Colorado State University features a host of events open to the entire campus community, ranging from a film screening and campus talks to culinary experiences and a fashion show. “2026 marks a century of national commemorations of Black history,” B/AACC Director John Miller IV said. On Feb. 11, there will be live samba performances and interactive dance instruction celebrating Black and Afro-Brazilian traditions in the Lory Student Center Theatre. Off campus, there are also a variety of community-focused events, including an interactive painting workshop on Feb. 21 at the Foothills Shopping Center.
