Mexican-style hotdog stand El Weinecero gains brick-and-mortar location at Bar Gimme Gimme

Credit: Courtesy Photo / Bar Gimme GimmeBar Gimme Gimme, the rock ’n’ roll–inspired Southtown nightspot co-founded by bartrepreneur Aaron Peña and chef Paul Peterson, has struck a pop-up partnership with locally owned Mexican-style hot dog stand El Weinecero. Under the new arrangement, El Weinecero will operate out of Bar Gimme Gimme’s kitchen every Thursday through Sunday, marking a significant expansion for the street-food brand. Bar Gimme Gimme’s standard menu, helmed by Petersen, will still be available on Mondays and Wednesdays. El Weinecero recently launched a soft opening at Bar Gimme Gimme with a limited menu.
