On Jan. 23, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Bonham St. for defective equipment. A warrant check revealed Day to be wanted on numerous warrants out of Lamar County, Hunt County, and The City of Paris. Day was arrested on the warrants including Probation Revocation on DWI and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft, and misdemeanor traffic offenses. Huffman was stopped, a second time at which time officers noticed the smell of an alcoholic beverage about Huffman’s person. On Jan. 26, Officers arrested Decarlos Alton Smith (48) in the 1800 block of Cedar where he was spotted by officers knowing his identity.
