Committee Grants Liquor License to Grey Dog; Mushu Application Not ApprovedMARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Judiciary and Licensing Committee approved a Reserve “Class B” alcohol license for The Grey Dog during its January 6, 2026 meeting, following closed session deliberations between two applicants. According to meeting minutes, the City of Marshfield currently has one available Reserve Class B alcohol license. Two businesses applied for that license: Grey Dog, LLC, and N.C. Ave., LLC, doing business as Mushu’s. When the committee returned to open session, a motion was made and approved to grant the Reserve Class B license to Grey Dog. Reserve Class B liquor licenses are issued when a municipality has reached its population based cap on regular licenses.
