It’s going to be a frigid start to the weekend in the nation’s capital, as Environment Canada warns of bone-chilling cold.
According to the weather agency, temperatures are expected to drop over Thursday into Friday, but with the wind chill, it will be bitterly cold.
The wind could make it feel closer to -33 to -38.
The agency notes that if it’s too cold outside for people, it is also too cold for pets.
Ottawa also has a map of resources across the city of spaces where people are welcome to warm up.
