As temperatures begin to drop across the region, StepStone Family & Youth Services of Virginia is once again stepping in to ensure children in foster care feel warmth, comfort and a sense of belonging this winter through its annual “Wrapped in Love” blanket drive. Each year, Wrapped in Love mobilizes community members, partners and volunteers throughout Virginia to donate blankets, providing foster youth with a tangible reminder that they are cared for and supported by their community. “This blanket drive is a powerful reminder that even a simple blanket can provide warmth, security, and a sense of belonging. StepStone Family & Youth Services helps connect children in need with foster families who can provide comforting, nurturing homes. StepStone Family & Youth Services has operations in nine states and is organizing blanket drives at all its locations this winter.
