“John Rambo” Movie Begins Production

Filming has officially begun in Thailand on Lionsgate’s “John Rambo,” a film that serves as an origin story to the legendary franchise. “Sisu” helmer Jalmari Helander directs the project from a script by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani (“Black Adam,” “The Mauritanian”). The cast will include Yao (“Sinners”), Jason Tobin (“A Thousand Blows”), Quincy Isaiah (“Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty”), Jefferson White (“Yellowstone”), and Tayme Thapthimthong (“The White Lotus”).
