Interesting idea from Zara Pennington that ‘Embracing Green policies pushes politics forward’, (Shetland News, 26 January 2026). Tell that to everyone who pays ever increasing electricity bills, thanks to Green policies. Wind farms are green energy; not only do we pay for the energy they produce, we also get to pay for when they are asked not to produce energy. Companies get to subsidise the wind farms too, so their prices to customers go up, there is the Cost-of-Living Crisis right there. Green policies wipe out economies, and jobs.
