A Philadelphia nonprofit is kicking off the new year with a series of programs linked to America's 250th anniversary commemoration. The Wardrobe has announced events that bring together community members to learn how they can support or benefit from The Wardrobe's nonprofit clothing and confidence-building services, empowering people on their journey to independence by addressing clothing insecurity. The Wardrobe's support services include one-on-one coaching, resume review, interview preparation, and “threads of independence” workshops, all available every Wednesday. New clothing items arrive daily, and customers can find designer and contemporary clothing at more than 70% off retail prices. The organization also offers a Wardrobe Box, a seasonal subscription clothing service for individuals, or a free, personally styled service for participants.
