The studio has also confirmed it will be bringing back Safeguard for Black Ops 7 Season 2, a classic game mode that hasn't been seen in a mainline Call of Duty game since 2018's Black Ops 4. The timing of Black Ops 7 Season 2 will once again see the shooter go head-to-head with its biggest competitor, Battlefield 6.
