A baby born after their mother was hit by an e-bike in Poole is in a serious condition in hospital, Dorset Police said. The pregnant woman, in her 30s, gave birth in hospital after she was struck by the bike, which failed to stop at the scene on Herbert Avenue in Poole, Dorset on Monday. A Dorset Police spokesman said her baby remains in a serious condition. He said: “Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward. “It was reported the rider of the e-bike failed to stop at the scene.
