Police in Zomba have successfully recovered a cache of stolen electronic and solar equipment following a break-in at the home of a Canadian national in September 2025. Zomba Police Publicist, Patricia Sipiliano,confirmed the arrest and identified the suspect as Maxwell Sapul,24. According to Sipiliano, the incident occurred on September 11, 2025, when suspects targeted the residence of Dean Badcock. Sipiliano confirmed that all the stolen properties have since been recovered by authorities. While one individual is in custody, police are currently tracking a second accomplice who remains at large.
