Kitchen sink blown from wall in Chetumal LP gas explosionChetumal, Q.R. — One person was taken to Chetumal hospital Thursday from an LP gas explosion. Municipal police, Civil Protection and Chetumal firemen were at the scene Thursday afternoon. Firemen and Civil Protection were some of the first responders at the home Thursday afternoon in response to neighbor reports. The kitchen suffered extensive damage from the LP gas explosion January 29, 2026.
