Search Warrant Leads To Drug Trafficking Charges, Child Taken Into DSS CustodyJOHNSTON COUNTY — Authorities say a search warrant executed Wednesday at a Willow Spring home uncovered suspected methamphetamine hidden in a baby crib, leading to multiple felony charges and the removal of a child from the residence. Deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested Aleman, who investigators said had approximately one gram of suspected methamphetamine in his possession. Investigators reported locating 285 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside a baby crib. Additional items seized during the search included a firearm, drug paraphernalia, smoking devices, digital scales and $3,229 in cash. Authorities said Aleman also had outstanding failure-to-appear warrants in Wake County on drug-related charges, including trafficking and possession of narcotics near a school.
