Sex Offender Accused Of Indecent Exposure Incidents In Selma And SmithfieldJOHNSTON COUNTY — A Fayetteville man listed on the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry is in custody after police said he exposed himself to children inside retail businesses in Smithfield and Selma. According to Selma Police, Williams allegedly exposed himself to a 17-year-old girl inside the Old Navy store on St. Mark Avenue in Selma on Jan. 26. Smithfield Police said Williams reportedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of two children, ages 2 and 6, that same day inside Bealls, located at 1229 N. Brightleaf Boulevard in Smithfield. Jason Maurice Williams is on the NC Sex Offender Registry in Cumberland County. In all of the cases, Williams reportedly wore a toboggan, a face covering and mirrored sunglasses.
