A Souderton man is facing multiple charges after police said he fought with officers and injured one of them during a traffic stop on an icy roadway last week.
Souderton Borough Police said an officer attempted to stop Timms around 5:27 p.m. Friday after observing him driving a black 2010 Toyota Tundra pickup despite having a suspended license.
The vehicle made several quick turns before stopping near 320 North Main Street on what police described as an icy, inclined roadway.
Officers reported that Timms continued to resist on the ground while still in possession of the knife before being subdued and handcuffed.
Police noted the ground was icy and snowy, with stones and concrete objects in the vicinity.
