A Brookfield resident is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in Linn County after authorities allege he attempted to enter another person’s home without permission on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 28. According to online court records, 36-year-old Jonathan Scott Robison is charged with two felony counts of first-degree attempted burglary and one felony count of first-degree stalking. Court filings state Robison intentionally followed a victim in a manner meant to disturb or alarm the individual, actions that investigators say violated an existing order of protection. Investigators report Robison resisted detention by Brookfield Police Maj. Jeff Henke, through the use or threat of physical force or interference. Court records also note Robison previously was convicted of second-degree assault in Chariton County Circuit Court in April 2011 and in Livingston County Circuit Court in October 2020.
