The state of the Hinckley Road explosion site has been labelled "disgusting" and "disrespectful to those who lost their lives" by neighbours who are keen to see it turned into a memorial.
The trial heard that they had planned the explosion in the hope of claiming £300,000 in an insurance payout.
Up the road from the explosion site, a plaque was installed in 2022, where people can lay fresh flowers amd visit to pay tribute.
Over the summer youths were spotted setting a fire in the boarded up site, which Zubair has condemned as "completely disrespectful to who lost their lives and their families."
