A total of 26 children have gone missing from Stirling schools and nurseries in the past five years. Eight were reported unaccounted for while attending nursery, while 18 disappeared from schools across the area. The Courier submitted a freedom of information request to Stirling Council to obtain the statistics. It included any children who had gone missing after being registered that morning.
