A filing in the Pickens Common Pleas Court, the following legal question is raised: may the Clemson City Council re-litigate issues already rejected by the court to re-deploy subpoenas already quashed? The filing is by attorney Robert Childs III, on behalf of former Clemson councilwoman Catherine Watt. In a WebEx hearing next week, the plaintiff side will move to quash subpoenas issued to a pair of women who, according to plaintiff’s lawyer, are uninvolved in any relevant events related to Watt’s case against the city and her former colleagues on council.
