Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) has appointed Dr. Michaelia Black as its new Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Black brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Assistant Professor of Accounting and Accounting Discipline Coordinator at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. "We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Black to the MVNU family," said Dr. Carson Castleman, MVNU President. In her new role at MVNU, Dr. Black will manage budget planning, financial reporting, endowment oversight, facilities planning, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Black is married to Dr. Joshua Black, who serves as MVNU’s Executive Director of Human Resources and Training & Development.
