The actress has dropped of the upcoming A24 movie Deep Cuts after unwittingly getting caught up in a whitewashing controversy. The backstoryDeep Cuts is based on Holly Brickley's 2025 novel that chronicles the relationship between music critic Percy Marks and songwriter Joe Morrow.
