Washington County residents are invited to observe Black History Month at the James Emerson Dennis Jr. Black History Month Forum. Programs will take place each Monday during the month of February at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham, starting at 6 p.m. Next on February 9th will be “Roots and Resistance”, a presentation on Brenham community legacies. Following that on February 16th will be “Black Brilliance”, a discussion on innovators who changed the world and left a legacy. Members of the Brenham High School Black History Club will also be in attendance during the forum.
