The girl was left with complex PTSD, has trouble trusting people and is unable to sleep. Ahmed fled the country after he was arrested and charged for the attack on the 15 year old girl, Nottingham Crown Court was told. A victim impact statement was read out to the court where the teenage girl said she had 'turned to drink and drugs' to cope with what had happened to her. He said: “She resisted him but he carried her into a bedroom where she was forcefully raped and his DNA was found in her underwear.
