VIG Re Zajistovna AS has appointed Marc Haushofer as APAC managing director to oversee its business in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan and lead its pan-Asian expansion alongside Joachim Mathe as head of special markets, another newly established position, Reinsurance News reported. The Czech Republic-based firm will establish an office in Singapore to support the expansion, subject to approval by regulatory authorities.
