By Eurohoops Team / info@eurohoops.netSkweek will not air Round 25 EuroLeague games on Thursday and Friday due to a strike by employees protesting ongoing salary delays, as reported by L’Équipe. Employees approved strike action — potentially extendable — citing recurring payment delays lasting nearly two years, including unpaid salaries for almost two months. “Skweek employees voted by majority to issue a strike notice covering the broadcast of EuroLeague Round 25 to protest recurring salary delays that have lasted for nearly two years. We are also very concerned about Skweek’s financial situation and its future,” the platform’s staff said in a statement, according to L’Équipe. Friday’s EuroLeague games involving French clubs — ASVEL vs. Panathinaikos and Monaco vs. Virtus Bologna — will instead be broadcast live on L’Équipe TV and TV Monaco.
