Despite recent developments in professional golf, including Brooks Koepka’s reinstatement to the PGA Tour, Bryan insists that his situation remains unchanged and that he plans to appeal the circuit’s decision.
At the time, the PGA Tour considered the event unauthorized for its members, leading to probation and ultimately an indefinite suspension.
“That video is one of the most powerful videos in YouTube golf,” Bryan said in April 2025.
He has played in 134 PGA events, making 68 cuts and accumulated over $5.2 million in prize money, according to ESPN.
That opportunity, he said, was exactly what the YouTube golf community had been striving toward, and that’s why he chose to participate despite the risks.
