The greenspace at Leek's Brough Park has been churned up while a tree appears to have been partially knocked over. ‌Now Staffordshire Moorlands District Council has confirmed it's been done by a contractor brought in to carry out de-silting works at the park's lake. But they have 'created a bit of a mess' on the grassed area to the rear of the play area. ‌A spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the contractors carrying out the de-silting works at Brough Park lake have created a bit of a mess on the grass getting to the lake as the conditions were worse than they anticipated.
