Inverness city centre could see a major revamp with the arrival of a new “Station Quarter”.
The Inverness city centre masterplan, which will be discussed by councillors on Monday, wants to replace the bus station as well as the Rose Street multi-storey car park.
The current bus station area would be cleared to make way for a new city centre park.

Mark Ryrie, from Wick, said: “I wouldn’t say it’s needed, they (the bus station and railway station) are already around the corner from each other.
