A total of nine people have been arrested following the incident, with the suspects aged between 14 and 20. They are four boys aged 15, one boy aged 16, three girls aged 14, 16 and 17 and one man aged 20. Chief Superintendent Nick Waldram said: "This behaviour is abhorrent and has absolutely no place in our city centre. "I could not be clearer, alongside members of the public, Nottinghamshire Police do not want knife carriers in our city.
