Those who wanted to retrieve their love locks before the water supplier removed them were invited to do so, however thousands were not claimed. Severn Trent says only around 200 love locks were retrieved by their owners, leaving around 2,000 unclaimed. Pont des Arts in Paris, Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne, and Butchers' Bridge in Ljubljana are among the most notable bridges for love locks across the world.
