Director Andrew Traucki has proven to be a specialist in “animals attack” survival thrillers. Back in 2007, he brought us the crocodile thriller Black Water, which he co-directed with David Nerlich, and since then he’s gone solo with the shark thrillers The Reef and The Reef: Stalked, and he made a “spiritual sequel” to Black Water called Black Water: Abyss. He also made a found footage survival thriller called The Jungle, which dealt with a “forest demon” creature. Now, Deadline reports that Traucki is venturing back into crocodile territory with yet another survival thriller, this one a “high-concept” project called ULU . It’s a survival thriller rooted in real environments, real pressures, and real consequences.
