Cambridgeshire County Council is proposing to increase its share of council tax by the maximum amount of 4.99 per cent. ‌This includes a 2.99 per cent increase in the basic council tax precept and a two-per cent increase for the adult social care precept. The total council tax bill people receive includes contributions to a number of authorities in the area, not just the county council.
