The warning was made during a court hearing for Layton Randle, aged 19, who is charged with the murder of Drew Perham on Saturday, January 24.
Randle, of Oakfield Terrace Road in Plymouth, appeared for a hearing this morning (Thursday, January 29) at Plymouth Crown Court where he was remanded in custody.

He said: "People need to resist the temptation to comment on social media on this case as it may prejudice a fair trial."
