Bomb squad seal off Plymouth police station after grenades handed inA 100m cordon was activatedView Image The road was cordoned off (Image: Submitted)A bomb squad swooped on a Plymouth police station after members of the public arrived with hand grenades. ‌The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit was called to the scene and a 100m cordon was put in place around the building. ‌A spokesperson for the police force said the grenades were disposed of by the bomb squad on Thursday afternoon and the cordon was lifted. They told PlymouthLive: "This afternoon, two members of the public attended Charles Cross Police Station to hand in two suspected grenades. ‌"A 100m cordon was put in place while we waited for the EOD to attend.
